Ever since I first saw Millie Mackintosh on Made in Chelsea, she has always been my favourite. Although her style when I first saw her consisted mainly of a fur, leather trousers and knee-high boots, I was still always envious of her wardrobe.
Aside from the fact that she looks pretty great in a hat, I have noticed that recently her style has become much more eclectic. It’s not unlikely to see her photographed in a boho top and flower garland one day, a grungey skirt and crop top the next and then a smart tailored two-piece the day after. On Millie’s website, her ‘style diary’ features a huge variety of outfit styles and I find much of my own fashion inspiration there. Interestingly, many of the items of clothing she features are from the high-street (H&M, RiverIsland and French Connection for example), which is not what I would have ever suspected from the Chelsea socialite.

I wore this outfit for a summer concert I went to with my sisters last weekend. It turned out to be the hottest day of the year so far but luckily the clothes I decided to wear were light-weight and hot weather appropriate. I just took a simple cross-body bag with me, which I bought last year for festivals because it’s small and can go with almost anything. I’m surprised it survived last summer but it’s still looking as good as new! As for shoes, my white Converse were an easy choice.
