Monthly Archives: October 2014

So something sort of big happened in my life about 4 weeks ago…I became a University of Manchester student! I can’t believe it has been almost 4 weeks already since I made the move from my family home in London to university halls although I can say that they have probably been some of the busiest and most enjoyable weeks I’ve ever had. The course I am studying is Fashion Marketing and based on what we have covered in the first few weeks, I am looking forward to what’s to come.

Today I attended a careers event hosted by my school called ‘Made In Manchester’, which gave me the opportunity to network with some of the top brands in the fashion industry. In attempt to look like I had made slightly more of an effort than my usual uni lecture attire, I opted for a pair of black tailored trousers and a white t shirt with a grey floral jacket on top. However, the Manchester rain meant that trainers (my waterproof option) had to be worn as well.
