Inspired by the amount of time I’ve (accidentally) spent online shopping over my Easter break, I’ve styled three outfits centred around one of the key trends for SS15: Denim. Each of the three, very different looks are put together using items completely from one high-street store.
ZARA
I loved this pinafore dress on Zara’s new in section and although it would look great with a white or grey t-shirt underneath, I thought the longline shirt would be a slightly more unique way of styling the denim. As the dress is quite a statement piece, I decided to stick to all-white accessories including slider sandals and a bucket bag.
H&M
This is the kind of look I absolutely love when I see other people wear and I am forever trying to find items to replicate the style myself. I think that taking something as casual as mom jeans and a plain t-shirt and styling them up with strappy heels and a jacket gives a really sophisticated and put-together look. This outfit plan encapsulates H&M’s spring/ summer style perfectly.
Topshop
Although denim a-line skirts are everywhere this season, Topshop’s offering is probably my favourite. The way I would choose to style it is with a super-girly top and boho inspired jewellery to further reflect the 70s influence. My favourite things about this outfit are definitely the accessories- I am looking to get my hands on those shoes and that bag!

Over the Easter weekend, my family and I took a day trip down to the south coast to explore one of our favourite seaside towns: Brighton. Although the weather wasn’t great for the majority of the day (read: extremely windy with a touch of rain), the sun did come out long enough for us to sit on the beach and enjoy our chips.
Aside from wondering along the pier and the seafront we also explored the quirky shops in the lanes and found a rooftop cafe to grab a bite to eat. One shop worth a mention was Snooper’s Paradise where we found tons of interesting items including a stack of retro Vogues (dating back to the 1970s), vintage cameras and even a full size suit of armour!
Our brief trip in Brighton ended in the pub before we headed back on the train for the short journey back to London.
