The stress of exams and revision, which made up the first half of my week, has led me to a weekend back at home in London for some much needed rest and relaxation. I could not be happier that my exams are finished so that I can spend some more time with friends and family as well as working on my blog and catching up on the healthy cooking/ exercising that I pledged to at the beginning of the year. Jenn Im is a Korean YouTuber who’s channel ‘Clothes Encounters’ I discovered this week (between my revision, of course). She has over 1.5million subscribers so I’m clearly very behind in finding out about her but at least that means I have plenty of videos to catch up on! (more…)

A New Year’s walk through a very muddy Bracknell forest with my family last weekend. The walk has become a kind of un-said tradition for us, although I just enjoyed the chance to get some fresh air and exercise after a busy Christmas, which consisted mainly of being indoors and stockpiling on food. I can’t say I’ve ever taken note of Pantone’s colour of the year, I didn’t even recognise 2015’s colour when I googled it a minute ago (it’s ‘Marsala’ FYI). However, when Pantone released their colour of the year for 2016, I was intrigued. Firstly because this is the first time they have blended two colours together and secondly because I wanted to know what would make the seemingly classic baby blue/ baby pink shades worthy of being colours of the year.
