2017 in Pictures

Ah 2017. What a good one. This year I have explored more countries and cities than I ever have before: from Rome and Stockholm to New York and Amalfi. I’ve also had some pretty life changing moments including graduating from The University of Manchester and entering the working-world with my first real job. I’ve been very sad to wave goodbye to Manchester but moving back to my home town of London for the latter half of this year has brought so many exciting opportunities my way.

April: New York

A very very brief trip to New York back in April. We walked SO far everyday exploring the streets of Manhattan, eating the biggest stack of pancakes I’ve seen and sunset spotting at the top of the Rockefeller centre. Take. me. back.

May: Finishing Uni & Leaving Manchester

Fast forward to May, after a few months of exams and coursework deadlines, we all came out of uni-hibernation and celebrated in the best way we knew how.

June: Long Weekend in Stockholm

In June we ventured to Stockholm to watch my sister run the marathon. It was a lovely touristy weekend exploring a new city and I wrote all about what we got up to here.

June: Rome & The Amalfi Coast

The holiday of my dreams was in June when my boyfriend and I spent a couple of weeks in stunning Italy eating our bodyweight in pizza. Check out this post featuring all the Amalfi Coast photos and visitor top tips- it’s one of my most popular of the year.

July: Graduation

In July was one of my favourite days of the year: graduation. I spent the whole day grinning from ear to ear as I celebrated with friends and family on a surprisingly sunny day in Manchester.

July: Scoop in the Summer

For the third year running, I helped out at ‘Scoop’, a luxury fashion trade show in Chelsea. I love getting caught up in this exciting event and working in such a beautiful location, surrounded by designer fashion collections. It’s a fashion student’s dream.

September: Greece

My parents and I headed to Lefkas in mainland Greece for a late summer holiday. The sea was an indescribable turquoise and I ate the best local, Greek food I’ve ever had.

September: New Job!

Perhaps this major event explains my absence on the blog front for the last few months. I was delighted to celebrate my new job role as a Digital Marketer at a local agency, which I started in September. 3 months in and I’m still a very happy marketer :).

The best is yet to come… happy 2018 all ❤️
