Portugal was the destination of our family holiday this year. Carvoeiro is a small yet busy town in the Algarve and it’s reasons for drawing in the tourists is clear. The food, the beaches, the sunsets: check, check, check. As we explored the town, I was left trailing at the back every time, unable to pass up the endless photo opportunities. Never have I seen a place so beautifully styled with bright flowers and block coloured buildings. The sunsets were unbeatable, as were the endlessly blue beaches that lined the town. After a short visit featuring lazy beach days, long walks at sunset and authentic Portuguese dishes; I wasn’t nearly ready to journey home.
