Featuring three re-discoveries and two new items, find out the top beauty, fashion and lifestyle things I have been loving over the last few weeks.
01. Pearl & Shell Necklace by Mirabelle
I was lucky enough to receive this gold necklace as a gift recently following a work opportunity and I’ve worn it almost everyday since. The necklace is both delicate and feminine, and I find that it sits at the perfect not-too-long, not-too-short length. I now have a handful of pieces from Mirabelle and I can definitely recommend taking a look at their collections if you are on the hunt for some unique, high-quality jewellery pieces.
A re-discovery of mine over the last few weeks is spinning. Last summer you could have found me sweating it out at a spin class up to three times a week but when September rolled around and uni was back on the cards, my love for spinning was lost. Fortunately, I have once again found my passion for this high-energy gym class and the unbeatable post-spin feeling (if you know, you know!)
03. Mio Workout Wonder Ball
This product actually follows on well from the above point as it is a gym-goer’s saviour. The Mio Workout Wonder Ball* is a muscle cooling product that is rolled onto tight muscles after exercise to help relieve pain and tension. I can’t explain how or why but this product works instant wonders on aching muscles! Despite the slightly overpowering spearmint smell (could be worse), this product gets top marks from me.
04. Effaclar Duo [+] Unifiant
I first got my hands on this product last summer and I wrote an informative review of it at the time (see here). When the Effaclar Duo Unifiant launched, I really loved it and decided that it definitely stood up to its claims. A few weeks ago I re-discovered the product after it got lost at the back of my drawer (oops) and it has been my first choice base product ever since. I really love the light-weight, skin-perfecting coverage and it gives a lovely summery glow.
05. Woden Trainers
Back in October I got my hands on my first pair of Woden Trainers and I featured them in a styling post (see here). I still love them as much now as I did back then and since October I have enjoyed seeing the Woden brand grow massively. I have spotted Woden’s quirky trainers all over the place and although I have my eye on a few new pairs, this Zebra print style is still my favourite. They are surprisingly easy to style and I love how effortlessly stylish they look with a casual jeans and tee outfit.
