Uterqüe

The latest brand to enter my fashion radar is the sophisticated and feminine label, Uterqüe. Have you heard of them yet?

Uterqüe are part of the Inditex family (think: Zara, Berskha, Massimo Dutti etc.) so they have a big backing behind them as well as a pretty sizeable reputation to live up to. It also means that you need to pronounce their name as ‘oo-ter-kay’ in your best Spanish accent, of course. They offer a similar, fashion-led aesthetic to Zara’s but are targeting a slightly more sophisticated market looking for quality, without the worries of a higher price tag. Their products are all limited edition, loosely follow trends and definitely don’t shy away from colour.

I discovered Uterqüe thanks to my Instagram explore page, as is the case with so many of my recent, favourite finds. I loved the modern yet classic style of their pictures and I was very quick to explore their online store and find plenty more clothes, shoes and bags that I loved. Their Instagram is seriously worth taking a look at. The brand is a relative newbie on the fashion scene so I can almost guarantee that you won’t see someone on the street dressed in the same Urteqüe piece as you.

Petition to bring a store to the UK (please).
